The Auditor – General stated this while declaring open, A One Day Capacity Building Training for the staff of the office in preparation to the commencement of audit for the year 2020 fiscal year accross all the Public Offices of the State.
He called on the Auditors to provide guidance to the respective Public Offices during the audit assignment to enable them deliver on their mandate of providing public goods and services to the good people of the State.
The One Day Capacity Building focus on effective audit as a panacea for good governance and accountability in the public sector.
